HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SHOOT

ARE YOU READY?
THE GOAL

We’re excited to visit your practice for the upcoming content creation shoot! Our goal is to capture engaging, authentic, and trust-building content that highlights your practice. We also want to showcase your practice as a fun, welcoming, and enjoyable place for future loyal patients.

A modern waiting room with a cozy orange sofa, patterned cushions, and a round marble coffee table with a vase. Wall art and a trio of decorative lamps are displayed. A shelf with plants and a glowing neon sign reading "Allen Family Dentistry" on a stone accent wall adds to the ambiance, resembling the stylish professionalism of a full-service video production company.
LOCATION PREP
  • Thoroughly clean and organize your entire practice.

  • Remove all clutter, including sticky notes, papers, and items on walls or computers.

  • Keep the front of the office clear for drone shots; avoid parking in this area.

  • Avoid using any seasonal decor.

  • Clear the front desk of magazines, notes, and cables.

  • Ensure all glass surfaces are clean.

INTERVIEWS
  • Low-back chairs that support good posture (avoid chairs that lean too far back).

  • Solid color decorative pillows to complement the chair.

  • Stools for versatility in shots.

  • Plenty of plants in various sizes (large, medium, or small).

  • Clients typically order from Amazon, Ross, or TJ Maxx. West Elm is another option, though more expensive.

WARDROBE
  • Bring at least two outfits: Scrubs with a lab coat and casual attire (reference images below). Feel free to bring additional options!

  • Stick to solid colors; avoid stripes, patterns, and pure white. Neutral tones are best—no neon or bright colors that may clash with the surroundings.

  • Avoid clothing with logos, writing, or images unless they are company shirts.

  • Ensure clothing fits well, whether you’re standing or sitting.

  • Keep jewelry and accessories minimal; items like noisy bracelets or scarves can interfere with audio.

  • For team photos, coordinate your wardrobe ahead of time to maintain a cohesive look.

  • Bring an iron and ensure all clothing is ironed before and during the shoot.

A group of eight women are posing in an office-like setting, representative of a full service video production company. The woman in the center is standing, dressed in a light pink suit, while the others are seated and standing around her, all dressed in business casual attire. The decor is modern and minimalistic.
Eight women dressed in black medical scrubs are posing together, with five standing behind a beige sofa and three seated on it. They are smiling and laughing, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in a modern, well-lit room that could easily be the setting for a full-service video production company. Two framed artworks are on the wall behind them.
PROPS
  • iPads: For dynamic shots that showcase technology in use during patient consultations or procedures.

  • 3D Scanners: Highlight cutting-edge equipment to demonstrate modern dental techniques and procedures.

  • Models of Teeth: Use for patient education and demonstrations to emphasize expertise in treatments.

  • Branded Materials: Include items like brochures, business cards, or branded merchandise to subtly promote your practice’s identity throughout the shoot.
